Shirley Bruno is a Haitian-American filmmaker, living and working between New York, Paris, and Haiti. She creates modern myths that explore the everyday, the Sacred, and the intimate violence in the things left unsaid, that mark us generation after generation. Her most recent shorts, “Tezen” and “An Excavation of Us”, continue to screen internationally in festivals, galleries, and television. Currently, Shirley is developing her first feature film in Haiti at “LIM”, a part of “Le Groupe Ouest”/ “The Eastern Group”.
