Dina Duma

Dina Duma was born in Skopje, Macedonia, in 1991. She graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, in the Department of Film and Television Directing, in 2014. Her graduation film, “The Last Act” (2014) screened in international festivals and won several awards, including a Grand Prix at the Montenegro Film Festival. Her most recent short films, “Elena” (2016) and “They come from the center of the world” (2017), premiered at the “Festival du Nouveau Cinéma”, in Montréal. Dina participated in “Berlinale Talents”, in 2016. She is currently developing her debut feature, “Sister”, supported by the Macedonian Film Agency. The project “Sister” has won the “CoCo post-pitch” Award at “Connecting Cottbus” (2016), and is being developed at “LIM – Less Is More” and “Nipkow Programm” (2017).
